“I try to create things that make people happy,” says Juan Díaz-Faes. With an unpretentious approach to art-making and a fun-loving visual language, this emerging Spanish artist conjures loveable characters from geometries, lines and bustling patterns. Since 2017, cities such as Miami, Austin, Guangzhou, Uruguay, Madrid and Santander have been home to large-scale wall murals by Juan Díaz-Faes. Díaz-Faes has held a solo show at Point Éphémére Centre in Paris, and Conde Duque in Madrid. The collaboration between Juan Diaz Faes and Deflow brings you a unique design on one of our best longboard fins, the Cream 9.75″.
